Toby descends from two Gurulé families. On his father’s side, he descends from family #5, and on his mother’s side, he descends from family #10. We are interested in corresponding with other researchers on these lines. Also, anyone who descends from Gervacio Nolan, born 1796 in Quebec, Canada (a French Canadian Fur Trader who came to Taos, New Mexico), and Juan Bautista LaLanda (also a Frenchman from Kaskaskia).
We have been married for 28 years, live and love in Texas where our daughters were born. Other hobbies besides genealogy include motorcycling on the weekend, boating and camping on Lake Texoma, and collecting memorabilia. We also own a 55 Chevy Hardtop we hope to restore someday.
