Biography:
To let you know a little about myself.
My name is Dionisio Avilio Tafoya. I was born in 1975 in Upland, California, and I lived most of my life in Ontario. I am now a resident of Arcadia, California, and working as an artist by trade and I have worked on projects across the country.
I lived in Albuquerque for 2 years starting in 1996 to get a change of lifestyle and I loved every minute of it. I guess New Mexico is a big part of who I am, and I've always have admired the people and the heritage the state has to offer.
Most of my family's roots are from New Mexico. My mother's grandfather was an Armijo from Albuquerque (we are still doing research on him), and my father's parents have deep roots in Albuquerque. I look forward to my next visit and I hope that this info might help others' interest be sparked in genealogical research.
