The New Mexico Genealogical Society (NMGS) sponsored this event held on 21 September, Friday afternoon at Botts Hall, Albuquerque, NM.
Henrietta Martinez Christmas (NMGS President) gave a fascinating talk about Elena Gallegos' history. She was followed by Robert Martinez, from the NM State Archives, who gave a historical talk about early Albuquerque.
